Trek Fuel EX 9.7 NX/GX Mountain Bike 2021
The Trek Fuel EX 9.7 NX/GX Mountain Bike is designed to take on any trail, be it uphill, downhill or twisty singletrack in between. The 130mm travel OCLV Mountain Carbon frame uses a FOX Performance Float EVOL rear shock with RE:aktiv 3-position damper for excellent grip and controlled plushness whilst the front end has 140mm of travel from its FOX Rhythm 36 Float EVOL fork. By switching the Mino Link in the shock linkage around, the geometry can be slackened off and the bottom bracket lowered for greater stability, and the Knock Block and Carbon Armor protect the bike against damage from rocks or crashes.
SRAM’s 12-speed drivetrain comprises NX and GX components, with the wide-range 11-50 tooth cassette providing plenty of ratios for all eventualities. 4-piston Shimano MT420 hydraulic disc brakes ensure tireless stopping power and easy modulation, with the Bontrager Line Dropper seatpost adding further convenience and control. Both the Bontrager Line Comp 30 wheelset and the XR4 Team Issue tyres are tubeless-ready and by offering both 27.5” and 29” options depending on frame size, handling is kept consistent across the range.

Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
