Specialized Rockhopper Expert Mountain Bike 2021
The Specialized Rockhopper Expert Mountain Bike is the latest version of the brands stalwart, ultimately versatile, alloy hardtail. Receiving a complete redesign for 2021, an already lofty level of ride quality is enhanced while the attractive price-to-performance ratio is maintained, enabling riders of all standards to attack trails, fire roads and downhill tracks with complete confidence and style.
The new frame is very much at the heart of the Rockhopper. A1 Premium Alloy is utilised due to its resilience, reliability and responsiveness and features a pinpoint butted configuration throughout the tube sections to reduce weight while preserving integrity. Presented with cross country inspired geometry, the ride character is punctuated by liveliness and composure over a complete spectrum of off-road terrain before the RockShox Judy SoloAir fork complements with its plush level of suspension to amplify trail accuracy and rider confidence.
The wheelset comprises robust alloy rims with a strength-enhancing offset design and smooth, well-sealed hubs that are laced together with durable stainless steel spokes to grant reliability and low-maintenance. Clever frame specific wheel sizing, either 27.5 or 29-inch, ensures optimal handling and poise, whatever the rider's size before tubeless-ready tyres bestow grip and compliance whatever the terrain.
A SRAM SX Eagle 1 x 12-speed gear setup provides a huge range of ratios to play with and allows any topography to be conquered with consummate ease before a full Shimano hydraulic disc brake platform bestows composed stopping power under any weather condition.
An easily maintained, threaded bottom bracket, internal cable routing, dropper post compatibility and discreet rack and kickstand mount complete the build by offering further versatility and convenience to an already comprehensive steed.

Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
