This bike is sized perfectly for me! I am 5ft10inches tall and i always find myself in-between bike sizes but the size-split system which Cube offer puts me slap bang in the middle of a Large frame size and i have to say that the cockpit reach is spot on for me! The suspension fork is at the budget end however it functions really well for the most terrain you will experience and for me i am mostly either commuting or riding canal towpaths or gravel tracks (forestry). The Schwalbe Smart Sam tyres are absolutely brilliant for rolling along (i have the 29er version) but they do require a bit more tyre pressure to fully benefit from this. You should pump them up to at least 80% of the maximum allowed - approx 45PSI or more if you are riding along the roads and they really do zip along nicely. The wheel bearings are silky smooth too which adds to the excellent rolling capability of these tyres/wheel size. I find that there are just enough gears to provide high speed rolling and low geared hill climbing ability with the double front rings. The saddle was not to my taste and so i changed this out and i also use SPD pedals. Overall a top quality bike that is well designed and thought out for the majority of cyclists. I look forward to riding longer distance soon in the better weather and use it like a touring bike, So far i have covered approximately 200miles without any problems. I think the Cube Acid full length mudguards would be a nice add on too which i am purchasing next!
