Built around a TFS 6061 double-butted aluminium frame, it uses modern trail geometry – a steep 76.5° seat angle for efficient climbing and a slack 64° head angle for stability when the trails get steep and rough. Internal cable routing, smooth welding and inboard disc mounts give it a sleek finish and durability.A RockShox Pike Air fork provides 140mm of suspension travel, helping the Big Trail soak up roots, rocks and drops while keeping steering accurate. Riders can tune air pressure and damping to match their style, ensuring performance whether climbing, descending or flowing along singletrack.Shimano’s Deore M6100 12-speed drivetrain is built for reliability, with wide-range 10–51T gearing to take on steep ascents and fast sections alike. The Deore M6120 4-piston brakes, paired with 203mm rotors, deliver strong, consistent stopping power and control on technical trails. The wheelset is a Reynolds 309 Enduro Comp, offering a 30mm inner rim width and tubeless-ready design for improved tyre support and the option to run lower pressures. Tyres are top-performing Maxxis models: a 2.5” Minion DHF up front for cornering grip and a 2.4” Dissector at the rear for rolling speed and braking traction. Both are tubeless-ready with EXO casing and 3C MaxxTerra compounds.Merida’s Agilometer sizing philosophy allows riders to choose their bike based on preferred reach rather than just height, making it possible to size up for stability or size down for agility. A Merida Expert dropper post comes fitted as standard, with up to 230mm of travel depending on frame size, giving the rider confidence and freedom of movement on descents.Practical features include bottle bosses, a threaded bottom bracket for easy maintenance, and frame protection to keep the bike looking good on the trail. The Merida Comp SL saddle even includes a mini tool for trailside adjustments. The Merida Big Trail 600 is a trail hardtail for riders who want progressive geometry, high-quality kit and proven capability in a simple, durable package. Whether it’s local woodland loops, bike park laps or long trail days, it delivers a fun, confidence-inspiring ride.
