Trek Fuel EX 9.9 X01 Mountain Bike 2021 The Trek Fuel EX 9.9 X01 Mountain Bike pairs a 130mm travel OCLV Mountain Carbon frame with a 140mm FOX Factory 36 Float EVOL air spring fork and SRAM’s premier 12-speed mechanical groupset to make the archetypal trail machine capable of providing indecent amounts of fun, whether out for an all-day epic or sessioning a local trail. The frame features Trek’s Knock Block design to prevent the fork crown from hitting the downtube and their Control Freak internal routing for svelte lines and silent riding. Two alternative geometry settings are provided by the inclusion of a Mino link which can be flipped to raise or lower the bottom bracket and alter the head angle by 1/2° for faster handling or a more stable ride. OCLV Mountain Carbon Bontrager Line Pro 30 wheels are light, sturdy and tubeless-ready, with the smaller sized frames using 27.5” rims and the larger bikes 29” so that the handling remains consistent for all riders. Carbon is also the material of choice for the Bontrager Line Pro handlebar and rails on the Arvada Pro saddle, whilst the Bontrager Line Elite Dropper seatpost offers up to 170mm of drop (depending on frame size) to give maximum room for manoeuvring.  SRAM’s gold-standard X01 Eagle 12-speed groupset ensures crisp shifting, with the huge 10-52 tooth cassette having a massive range of ratios. Braking power and control are provided by SRAM’s G2 RSC hydraulic disc brakes, with tireless performance on tap run after run.
