Trek Procaliber 9.7 Mountain Bike 2022 Aimed at the privateer XC racer and anyone else who values off-road speed and efficiency, Trek’s Procaliber 9.7 Mountain Bike is both light and fast.  The carbon frame includes an IsoSpeed decoupler to isolate the ride from trail vibrations and improve traction, with the seat tube and top tube connected with an elastomer that increases vertical compliance whilst retaining all the frame’s pedalling efficiency. At the front, RockShox’ Reba RL fork offers 100mm of travel to tame rocks and roots, increasing front end grip in the process. Shimano’s MT500 hydraulic disc brakes are paired with SRAM’s 12-speed GX Eagle drivetrain, ensuring great stopping power, and quick, reliable shifting whatever the conditions. The 32 tooth chainring and 10-52 tooth cassette provide a wide spread of gears, so steep climbs and full-speed descents are well catered for. As befits a lightweight race bike there are plenty of carbon components, with the rims, seatpost and handlebar all benefitting from the materials low weight, high strength and natural vibration-absorbing qualities.
