£5759.99 – Trek Session 9 X01 Mountain Bike 2022

Description

Trek Session 9 X01 Mountain Bike 2022 Built to deliver unrivalled traction on the world’s most demanding courses, the Trek Session 9 X01 Mountain Bike 2022 features a revised high pivot linkage to keep you planted through rough, technical terrain. The aluminium frame is robust and built to take the hits, and features an all-new sizing system based on reach measurements. For a more stable ride, size up, and for a more playful character, size down – your perfect fit is no longer held back by high seat tube numbers.  At the heart of the redesign is the revamped suspension layout, engineered to hug the ground for exceptional grip. The high pivot suspension design allows for a more rearward axle path, which reduces hangup by allowing the back wheel to lift up and over obstacles. The result? More speed. An idler pulley reduces pedal kickback for smooth, controlled landings, ensuring total confidence on jumps and drops.  Carried over to this latest frameset is the Mino Link adjustment system, which allows for geometry adjustment through the use of flip-chips. This simple adjustment allows the bike to be run in a mullet, 27.5” rear, 29” front configuration when set to the high setting, as well as a full 27.5” setup when run with the aftermarket EXT lower headset cup extension. Additionally, a shock-mounted flip-chip adjusts suspension progression between 20 and 25%, allowing you to run a more linear or progressive setup depending on your needs. The build kit mirrors the bike’s fast intentions, with suspension duties being catered for by the phenomenal RockShox Boxxer Ultimate and RockShox Super Deluxe Ultimate DH. SRAM’s DH specific X01 7-speed groupset provides crisp, slick-shifting in a small, low-profile form factor, and the Bontrager Line DH 30 wheelset is set up tubeless to further enhance grip. Bontrager components complete the controls, ensuring bombproof reliability to survive the abuse of lift-access riding.  Highlights Robust aluminium frameset New suspension layout with a high pivot and idler pulley increases traction Virtually zero pedal kickback means that you’ll stay confidently planted and in control during descents The high pivot design delivers a more efficient rearward axle path Lower shock mount chip adjusts suspension progression between 20 and 25% New DH sizing system, choose a size based on your ride style, not your height RockShox Boxxer Ultimate and Super Deluxe Ultimate DH shock for unrivalled control Tough Bontrager Line DH 30 wheelset is built to take the hits SRAM X01 DH drivetrain SRAM Code RSC brakes, with reach and bite point adjustment
