£1500 – Merida Big Trail 500 29er Mountain Bike 2026 Medium – Mokka (Brown)
£1,500.00
Description
29er aluminium hardcore hardtail with RockShox Psylo Silver RC 140mm Air sprung fork Shimano CUES 1 x 10 drivetrain and powerful SRAM DB4 4 piston hydraulic disc brakes. The original Big Trail concept was the result of a few UK dealers discussing the ideal UK trail bike with the Merida RandD chief – simple: 140mm air fork 29′ wheels 1 x transmission and a dropper post. Now in its 2nd iteration Big Trail is a fun-packed and hugely capable trail bike. Its progressive geometry combines a steep 76.5° seat angle with a slack 64.0° head angle giving great climbing characteristics and plenty of stability when the terrain gets steep or rough. Sizing follows the Agilometer principle which means most sizes work for most body sizes so that riding style can be factored in. If you want to go fast take the longer size for agility take a shorter size. Highlights: Modern trail bike geometry with long reach slack head angle and steep seat angle 140mm RockShox Psylo Silver RC Air fork 1 x 10 Shimano CUES drivetrain Powerful SRAM DB4 4 piston hydraulic disc brakes Dropper seat post 29′ Boost standard wheels with 2.5′ front and 2.4’rear tyres Frame TFS – 6061 double butted technoformed aluminium smooth welding Boost axle standard tapered head tube inboard disc mounts internal cable routing BSA BB standard Max tyre size 29′ x 2.5′ Fork RockShox Psylo Silver RC; Air; 140 mm travel; platform Gears 10 Shifters Front: Shimano SL-MT500-L Rear: Shimano CUES U6000 Rear Derailleur Shimano Cues U6000; GS Bottom Bracket Attached Chain KMC xGlide Chainset Merida Expert TR II; 32 tooth chainset; Crank length: XShort-Long – 165mm Xlong – 170mm Cassette Shimano LG300; 11-48 teeth; 10 Speed Front Brake SRAM DB4; 4 piston with SRAM CenterLine; 200mm Rear Brake SRAM DB4; 4 piston with SRAM CenterLine; 180mm Grip Merida Comp TR Handlebar Merida Comp TR II; material: aluminium; 780mm wide; 35mm rise Stem Merida Expert eTRII; material: aluminium; 35 mm diameter; 0 degree rise; Length: 40mm Headset Acros ICR Merida External neck; Upper and lower IPS sealing Pedal N/A Saddle Merida Comp SL; 25% recycled material; V-mount Seatpost Merida Expert TR II; 34.9mm diameter; in-line; XShort – 150mm Short-Mid – 170mm Long – 200mm XLong – 230mm seat post travel Wheel Size 29′ Rims Merida Comp TR; 29mm inner rim width; material: aluminium; Tubeless ready Stans 30mm tubeless tape installed and valves not included Spokes Double Butted Black stainless w/black nipples Front Hub Shimano TC500-B; 110x15mm; 32 spoke; Centerlock Rear Hub Shimano TC500-HM-B; 148x12mm; 32 spoke; Centerlock Front Tyre Mxxis Minion DHF; 29×2.5′; kevlar bead; TR EXO Dual Rear Tyre Maxxis Dissector; 29×2.4′; kevlar bead; TR EXO Dual Colour Gunmetal Grey Black
