Description
The Marin Tam XR Full Suspension Mountain Bike – 2026 is a fast XC trail bike for rough ground, long rides and hard laps. Its Series 4 aluminium frame uses 120mm of IsoTrac rear suspension. A 130mm Fox 34 SL Performance Elite fork adds precise control at the front. The wireless Shimano Deore Di2 drivetrain provides quick 12-speed shifts without a gear cable. SRAM Motive Silver four-piston brakes and a 65Β° head angle give steady control on steep or broken trails.Key Features and Benefits:Series 4 aluminium frame with 120mm IsoTrac suspension: The flexstay layout reduces the number of pivots and moving parts. This cuts weight and leaves fewer points to service. The rear wheel can still move through rough ground, which helps the tyre hold grip and carry speed.Fox Performance Elite suspension: The 130mm Fox 34 SL fork uses a GRIP X damper to control compression. The Float SL shock adds three compression settings and a light EVOL air spring. The tuned pair supports hard pedalling while keeping both wheels settled on rough sections.Wireless Shimano Deore Di2 12-speed drivetrain: Electronic control gives fast and exact shifts across the 10-51T cassette. The wide gear range covers steep climbs and fast ground. There is no gear cable between the shifter and rear mech, so there is no cable to stretch or clog with dirt.SRAM Motive Silver four-piston brakes: Four pistons spread force across each brake pad. The 180mm HSC rotors help manage heat on long descents. This provides strong braking with fine lever control, so speed is easier to manage with less hand effort.WTB KOM Light i30 wheels and Maxxis Rekon Race tyres: The i30 rims give the 29×2.35in tyres a broad and stable base. Light rims and WTB X7 hubs help the bike gain speed. The tubeless-ready tyres can run at lower pressures, which improves grip and comfort on broken ground.Trail-ready geometry and PNW Loam dropper post: The 65Β° head angle adds stability on steep ground. Short 435mm chainstays keep the rear compact, which helps the bike change direction. The dropper provides 150mm to 200mm of travel by size, so the saddle can move clear on descents. The Tam XR is also set up for long rides with fewer delays. Two bottles fit inside the front triangle, and the same mounts can hold tools or a pump. A threaded BSA bottom bracket, Universal Derailleur Hanger and Boost axle spacing use common standards. This makes servicing and replacing parts more simple. Sealed cable ports and a pivot guard also help keep dirt and water away from key parts. The Marin Tam XR suits riders who want XC speed, trail control and a clean wireless drivetrain in one bike. Choose the correct frame size to make full use of its balanced suspension, strong brakes and stable handling.Size Guide:Small: 5’3″ – 5’6″Medium: 5’7″ – 5’10″Large: 5’10” – 6’1″X-Large: 6’1″ – 6’5″
